Delicious pizza with excellent flavor and fresh ingredients! The crust is perfectly baked, and the toppings are generous. Orders are served hot and prepared quickly. The staff is welcoming and helpful. A great spot for enjoying tasty pizza with family and friends.
Finally got to try my first South Shore bar pizza. I went right at opening (11:30 AM) and was first to place my order, but I still had to wait 30-35 minutes. However, there is a large parking lot, so I just waited in my car. The lady working there was very friendly. Note that this place is cash only; there is an ATM inside. By the time my order was ready, the place was bustling with diners. The size of the pizza is perfect for one person, which is one of the defining characteristics of a SSBP. The first slice I tried was cool from the drive home. I heated up the rest of the slices, which was the move, since they tasted sooo much better hot. The pizza was very thin but stiff (no flop), with a cracker-like crust. The cheese had a rich, deep flavor with no pull. My only complaint was that it was too salty (I was thirsty for quite a while afterward), but I really enjoyed the pizza overall.
The South Shore Bar Pie that comes out of the oven under this roof, will blow your socks off, and possibly your boxers/panties. The linguisa pie might even blow all of you clothes off. Lynwoods is my favorite bar pizza. They never disappoint always consistent with their pizza, they dont get sidetracked with any other food they just stay focused on serving the BEST bar pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves bar pizza if your in the area definitely stop by.

Absolutely recommend you stop in and try this pizza. One of the best bar pies you're gonna have and great service as well. Gail was very helpful with our selections and our food came out as expected. Cannot wait to come back.
Obviously if you know what SSBP is, you know what you're getting into. Crispy + Laced. Phone line might be busy, just keep calling and you'll get through. Wait times can be long (1hr) on weekends. Not a problem because you can crush some $2 draft beers in the bar while you wait ($2 because they are tiny, like 10oz). Highly recommend trying the bean special, it sounds weird but it works. Toppings are always meticulously placed so you get a perfect bite each time.

One of the Best Bar Pizza's around dating back to 1949. The decor is an experience as well. And as advertised, it may take a while before you're pizza comes out, but well worth the wait. One of their specialty pizza's is the baked bean pizza pictured. If you're looking for something else, look elsewhere because all they serve is pizza.
